Is this custom architectural design?
That's right, the architect does not use ready-made templates, each object is developed individually for a specific customer.
What do you need to start architectural house design?
To start work, you need to receive a preliminary sketch of the future house layout from the customer. Preliminary planning can be provided in any format including photo, paper, pdf, etc.
How to submit a technical brief for house design to an architect?
We use a simple and convenient approach. Our customers receive a questionnaire by email or via messenger. Filling out the questionnaire takes only 5–10 minutes. After this, our architect will contact you to clarify the project details.
Is this architectural design sufficient to obtain a construction permit?
Yes. The design is carried out in ArchiCAD — the architect will create a 3D model of the house, floor plans and facades necessary for obtaining a construction permit.
Is the number of meetings with an architect limited?
The number of meetings is not limited. The architect is ready to conduct all necessary meetings and consultations until final project approval, at a pace convenient for the customer.
What does an architect prepare for the first meeting with a client?
The architect will prepare the first version of the house layout based on the completed questionnaire. During the meeting, all additional ideas and variations will be reviewed. The architect aims to provide maximum options so you can choose the ideal project together.
How is furniture placement handled in the project?
Furniture is arranged by groups, without detailed design of every individual item. If precise furniture placement is needed, it is recommended to start with an interior design project.
Are foundation drawings included in the project?
Yes. At a joint meeting the architect will advise on foundation options and the most effective one will be approved.
Will the materials for walls, partitions, and ceilings be determined?
The architect will recommend the optimal materials available on the market, but the final decision is made by the customer. All materials will be reflected in the project.
Are roof drawings and structural scheme included in the project?
First the customer approves the roof type and material, then the architect develops all the drawings taking into account both technical and aesthetic requirements.
Is façade design included in the project?
Yes, all 4 facades are included. The facade shape, type, textures and materials will all be determined.
Is a geological site survey required before design?
It is advisable, but if an insulated slab foundation is planned, most customers proceed without a geological survey.
What are the specifics of designing a basement?
A geological site survey is required for basement design. It is also important to note that the foundation type will be strip.
Is staircase design included in the project?
Interfloor staircase design is not included in the base project — it is a separate task that can be ordered additionally from the architect.
